I recently came across this tool, “Mole” on a random discussion on Twitter, and decided to try it out; And, I’m really pleased actually. macOS is notoriously hard to clean up space on, especially with the tons of application cache and mystery ‘System Data’ that end up eating half your (already limited and non-upgradeable) memory.
It’s very, very easy to setup and use, just try and use the dry-run & debug options on your first go, just so you don’t accidentally delete anything you need (it’s PERMANENT!!)
mo clean --dry-run --debug
